DESCRIPTION: STEEPING VESSEL MOD. MAC40
The steeping vessel is a system where the first phase of the cereal
malting process takes place.
The process involves the following operations:
1. Mixing the product with water
2. Mixing of the product by compressed air
3. Removal of impurities in the product
4. Removal of carbon dioxide generated during the steeping phase
TECHNICAL DATA:
• Total capacity: 12 cubic meters
• Dimensions A X B X H: 3.4 X 2.4 X 5.5 m
• Empty weight: 1300 kg
• Construction material: AISI 304
NOTE:
• On-board wiring made with approved and selected quality material
• The COD value (quantity of oxygen) in the process waste water
must not exceed 1500 mg/ I.
